Anjuman-E-Imamia was established pre-1947 in Village Badyal Qazian, near Jammu (J&K). The Founding Members of Anjuman-E-Imamia are Late Janab Syed Amir Hussain Shah jaffari,Late Janab Syed Fateh Hussain Zaffar Kazmi,Late Janab Syed Sharif Hussain Kazmi , formed the Anjuman as the First Shia Organization in Jammu to uplift the community and for the betterment of the society.
The first Procession of Muharram after 1947 Partition was held in the year 1953 in Jammu.
